From September 2026, Holy Family Catholic Primary School is proud to provide an in-house catering service, giving us greater control over the quality, nutrition and variety of meals available to our pupils.

Our catering team is supported by Educatering, a leading school food consultancy specialising in healthy, nutritious and appealing meals for children. Together, we are committed to providing freshly prepared lunches that support children's health, wellbeing and learning throughout the school day.

Our menus are carefully planned to offer a balanced selection of hot meals, vegetarian options and healthy choices that meet School Food Standards while encouraging pupils to enjoy a varied diet.

Booking School Meals

All school meals must be pre-booked through Arbor.

To support efficient food ordering and reduce waste, parents and carers are asked to book meals at least one week in advance wherever possible.

Booking through Arbor allows families to:

• Select meal choices in advance
• View upcoming menus
• Manage meal payments securely online
• Ensure pupils receive their preferred meal choice

Cost of School Meals

School meals cost £2.80 per day.

Meals are provided free of charge for:

• Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 through the Universal Infant Free School Meals scheme
• Children who are eligible for Free School Meals (FSM)

Free School Meals

Families may be eligible for Free School Meals if they receive certain benefits or have a low income.

In addition to receiving a free nutritious lunch each day, children eligible for Free School Meals may also qualify for additional support available through the school's Pupil Premium funding.
