We enjoyed a really enjoyable workshop today with a representative of the PDSA, who dispensed with so much useful advice to help us to care properly for animals. The Peoples' Dispensary for Sick Animals was founded in 1917 by Maria Dickin.  The Dickin bravery award for animals is still given out to this day.
