Headteacher's Welcome
Welcome to Holy Family Catholic Primary School!
I’ve had the privilege of being part of Holy Family since 2019, starting as Deputy Headteacher, and now proudly serving as Headteacher since April 2021. It’s an honour to lead such a fantastic school, where our dedicated staff, wonderful pupils, and supportive families create an exceptional community.
At Holy Family, we foster a compassionate, nurturing environment where every child is known and cared for. This ethos, celebrated by both parents and inspectors, is reflected in our Ofsted report, which highlights how we warmly welcome pupils and families from all backgrounds, celebrating their unique experiences and abilities.
Our strong relationships with parents and the wider school community are at the heart of what we do. By working closely together, we aim to maximise every child’s potential, ensuring each lesson challenges and inspires. We nurture creativity, curiosity, independence, and self-belief, offering numerous opportunities for parents to engage in their child’s learning journey both at home and in school.
We are proud participants in the Building the Kingdom programme, which shapes our children to be the change-makers and the leaders of tomorrow. Rooted in the social teachings of the Church, our curriculum encourages pupils to care for themselves, each other, and the wider world, while also respecting the environment through activities like Forest School.
Through creative planning, educational trips, inspiring visitors, and themed learning weeks, we enrich our children’s experiences, helping them grow into confident, respectful, and caring individuals.
Our website offers more information about our vibrant curriculum and school life, but we always welcome direct contact. Whether through a visit to the office, a chat at the gate, or an email, we’re here to support you.
I look forward to welcoming you into the Holy Family community.
