To start our day, the whole school had a virtual assembly with a Hindu speaker called 'Alison'. Everybody really enjoyed this session and learnt lots of information which they could share throughout the day. There were also lots of questions asked!

After the assembly, each year group focussed on a different aspect of the Hindu religion.

EYFS looked at Hindu special days and ritual objects, focusing on Diwali.

Year 1 looked at the stories of Krishna and Ganesha.

Year 2 looked at prayer at home, focusing on the Puja.

Year 3 looked at Places of Worhsip, which is The Mandir.

Year 4 looked at one of their Holy books, called Bhagavad-Gita

Year 5 looked at their beliefs and festivals focussing on their belief in one God.

Year 6 looked at Hindu values and the meaning of belonging, focusing on the meaning of Karma
