We learnt that taste buds on different parts of our tongue can detect a variety of flavours. We tested some of these flavours and recorded our preferences using a zero to ten scale. We found out that we all like sweet flavours; some of us like sour, salty or spicy flavours; and most of us dislike bitter flavours.
