In Year One, we learn that our eyes allow us to see. We know the basic parts of the eye and its functions.

Using a mirror, we looked closely at our eyes. We focused on the different colours and shapes we could see. Then we drew an eye and labelled the parts we'd learnt.

We were excited to see how our pupil changes size, allowing in more light when it is dark and less light when the room is bright.
