In art, we’ve been learning to create different types of lines.

In lesson 1 - After exploring making different types of lines using string, pencil and chalk, we placed all of our chalk drawings together, edge to edge, to make one big line drawing collage, in the style of the modern artist Bridget Riley.

In lesson 2 - We created a collaborative 'water picture' whilst listening to Claude Debussy’s ‘La Mer’; using drawing materials to make different lines and marks in response to what we heard.

During Book Week, we applied our knowledge of making different types of lines during a collaborative art activity to create an ENORMOUS 'Enormous Crocodile'!

In lesson 3 - We created abstract pictures using 2D shapes and different mark-making media to add colour.
