We learnt that taste buds on different parts of our tongue can detect a variety of flavours. We tested some of these flavours and recorded our preferences using a zero to ten scale. We found out that we all like sweet flavours but only a few of us like sour, salty or spicy flavours. In our taste test, lots of children disliked the bitter flavour of marmite.
