Celebration of the Word - Being Me in My World
Our Chaplaincy team led this term’s Jigsaw launch assembly, asking us to think about how we can use our words and actions and what we say to be kind to someone else.
They explained that our hands have the power to do good or cause harm in the same way that our words can do kind things and sometimes unkind things. It’s our choice how we use our words and actions, so it is important to stop and think about what we say and do to others.
We can’t take back unkind words or undo unkind actions. Once they are out, they are out!
We reflected upon this and ended with a prayer:
God our Father, we have learnt how Adam and Eve made the wrong choice in your beautiful garden. Please be with us and help us to make the right choices all of the time.
Amen
