Each class focused on a different symbol/element of the Ascension/Pentecost/the Holy Spirit to inspire artwork which was then presented in a whole school sharing assembly:

Reception - The Ascension

Year One - Wind (Symbol of breath of the Holy Spirit on Pentecost Sunday)

Year Two - Dove (Symbol of purity of the Holy Spirit)

Year Three - Water and Oil (Oil: Symbol of being chosen for something special – the Anointed One. Water: Symbol of new life and the commitment first made at the time of our baptism and renewed throughout our faith lives)

Year Four - Gifts of the Holy Spirit (Wisdom, Understanding, Right judgement, Courage, Knowledge, Reverence, Wonder and awe of the LORD)

Year Five - Fruits of the Holy Spirit (Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Generosity, Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-control)

Year Six - Peter and the Apostles
