When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like a mighty rushing wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.

It was the Holy Spirit come amongst them.

We thought about the wind coming from a fan or the wind outside on a windy day. Trees sway and kite tails flutter. Even though we cannot see it, it is there.

Catholics believe the Holy Spirit is just like the wind. Although we cannot see it, its power is all around us.
