We role played the adventures of a fictional character, 'Jackie Spanner', to help us rehearse and recall our new recount text. We pretended to visit the city dump and find ‘bits and bobs’ to build a rocket. Then we made our own junk model rockets. Tomorrow we will start to plan our recount writing, based on our real experiences (plus a few imaginative additions).
