Forest Face Paints!
Following our session making mud paint, the children were keen to continue exploring natural materials to make pictures and prints.
Some children used the clay to make models, including; animals, monsters and faces. Others made their clay 'pictures' directly onto tree trunks in our forest area.
Once we discovered that wet clay can be used to make the most fabulous face paint, the children had great fun decorating each other and scaring their teachers with their 'wild' faces!
Later, in the Year 1 'spa', everyone had a thorough facial before they were returned to their parents... Sssh, children, they'll never know! ;o)
