Toys from the past
We looked at a collection of old toys and identified the materials they were made from. We had lots of fun playing with the toys and comparing them to the toys we have today.
We know that modern toys are often made of plastic and many are simply thrown away when no longer wanted or broken. These toys end up in landfill which is bad for our planet. Long ago, toys were made of more sustainable materials and toys were passed down from generation to generation - What can we do differently? Can our toys save the world?
