Kandinsky
We have been learning about the Russian artist Kandinsky in art this term. He was famous for his abstract artwork and his use of colour mixing. We used the three primary colours - red, yellow and blue - to recreate his 'Squares in Concentric Circles' painting from 1913. We identifed that when we mixed these primary colours together these made secondary colours - purple, green and orange.
