Thaumatropes
We found out that, long ago, children didn't have computers or televisions. They played games like tag, marbles, hoops and hopscotch. Children from poorer families even made their own toys, like peg dolls and thaumatropes.
We made thaumatropes; spinning toys that make pictures appear magically as they spin!
