Working in partnerships, we were given the mission of designing, making and testing a parachute that would create the most air resistance.  We experimented with different materials. Each piece of material could be fashioned into any shape we wanted, as long as it didn't exceed 30 cms in length. Similarly, the parachute 'strings' could not exceed 30cms.
